Danny Lane is perhaps best known for his monumental sculptures made of horizontally stacked glass.
His work ranges from the design and production of glass furniture combined with wrought iron, to large-scale architectural commissions, which incorporate both engraving and stacking techniques.
At Canary Wharf he explores for the first time the potential of vertical-stacking and will create two undulating glass walls which transform the entrance of the McGraw-Hill building into an experience likened to the 'parting of the seas'
